We’re excited to have you as part of the Volunteer-Village Co. family! We’re proud to partner with three fantastic childcare providers in Hoke County to offer you up to four hours of free childcare when you volunteer.

If you're wondering how to start using this resource, here's a simple guide:

-Email us at volunteervillageco@gmail.com, and let us know which school or organization you'd like to volunteer for so we can verify your volunteer status.

​

-Contact one of our trusted childcare providers to register and schedule the days and times you need.

​

-After you volunteer, bring your volunteer verification form to the childcare provider to ensure you don’t incur any out-of-pocket costs. Without this form, parents will be responsible for all childcare fees.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

​

-We can reimburse up to four hours of childcare per day. You can use this resource more than once, but please note that the maximum is 12 hours per week.

​

-Your volunteer work must be with a registered educational institution, community organization, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, or charity (such as schools, libraries, animal shelters, food banks, museums, etc.).

​

-The volunteer verification form must be turned in when picking up your child/children. Without it, parents will be responsible for all childcare fees.

​

Note: Currently, if using Sandhills Nanny Co., they do require payment up front, and Volunteer-Village Co. will reimburse parents up to half the cost of the total amount for the day. This is subject to change in the future as we figure out how to integrate our systems and gain more funding for our cause.
